Bonior comments, “Currently my drawings focus on maps and paths. Their linear format is created with ink on Denril, a translucent synthetic surface. The variations in the density of the ink marks allows me to change the space of the paths and systems I am recording. Often the map is sense of place I’ve known. I am currently working on a series of drawings which includes the contour path of each of the United States. There seems to be connection to all the paths I have explored and I have come to recognize similar paths in overlapping tree limbs in the winter landscape as well as in my own arms and hands.””
